The Exam
During your routine dental exam, Dr Sablan will thoroughly examine all your teeth and gums for signs of tooth decay, gum disease, and other health problems. a st of Digital X-rays are taken periodically, to see what is happening beneath the surface of your teeth and gums. Getting X-rays are an important part of the examination and help your dentist discover dental issues that may not be visible to the naked eye. If you are coming in for a specific tooth problem, Dr. Sablan may only focus on that specific area of concern.
Professional Cleanings
Each tooth is carefuly cleaned with a variety of tools to remove plaque, tartar ( calcified plaque) from around your teeth. Your teeth will be flossed, polished and sometimes fluoride is applied to help make the enamel stronger. there is usually no discomfort with Regular teeth cleanings.. However, if you have very sensitive teeth or gums, please inform your dental provider so they can make adjustments for you, and help you have a good cleaning experience.
